Performance - Renewal of failed pavements
(Pavement has reached end of life)
Pavement
performance is listed by life cycle costs ($/m2/yr) in order from lowest to
highest for pavements that have reached their end of life.
Also shown are the key variables affecting life cycle cost identified in
pilot council testing. The climate and subgrade variables are the cost modifiers
used by the Victoria Grants Commission.
Care
is to be taken in interpreting the performance reports as there are many
factors, which affect life cycle costs including availability and cost of
pavement materials, environmental conditions and changes in traffic loadings.
